Peter has a wealth of experience of practice management, project management and contract administration in schools, healthcare and residential building.
In his role at Norse, he has also undertaken a wide range of professional activities, including party wall, defect diagnosis and development advice, plus condition surveys, building disputes, statutory approvals and developing fit out projects.
Notable projects have included implementing the merger of sister companies to form multidisciplinary practice, with a £7 million annual turnover and establishing and managing interdisciplinary relationships to provide joined up client offering.
At Northwick Park Eye Hospital, a £3.4 million, three-year healthcare project, he was involved in the refurbishing of old hospital buildings to form a new eye clinic and day surgery unit, including a new build ophthalmic operating theatre and offices and at the Brighton & Hove Progressive Synagogue, he worked as construction design management coordinator (CDMC).
At West Sussex County Council, Peter worked with the in-house consultancy team providing multidisciplinary services and was a member of the consultancy management team with collective managerial responsibility for 40 staff.
