Chris has been with the group since August 2003, progressing via the building surveying discipline and developing managerial experience in the process.
He became Director of Corporate Governance in 2017, taking a company-wide role of overseeing quality and consistency of commercial management and operational delivery activities, as well as working with key clients and overseeing the delivery of key projects.
Chris has a proven track record on managing and delivering a range of services to both the private and public sector. Notably, he managed the group’s Kent-based office f rom 2010 to 2014, delivering multidisciplinary consultancy services to Kent County Council.
He was responsible for closely managing the relationship with key client representatives and ensuring suitable resource provision to enable successful service delivery, achieving a turnover of £1 million per annum.
As a BRE trained Fire Risk Assessor he has undertaken fire risk assessments of a range of buildings. His professional experience also includes building pathology, party wall surveying and the undertaking of a range of surveys including condition surveys, asset surveys, pre-acquisition surveys, access audits and health and safety assessments.
I have extensive knowledge and experience in the role of contract administrator, as well as project design activities applicable to building survey-led projects.
