Project Summary
Ingleton House stands among eight locations pinpointed by Brentwood Council for the creation of a zero-carbon (in-use) housing initiative that promises to be well-integrated, sensitive to its surroundings, fully accessible, and offering a secure and pleasant environment for both residents and visitors.
Preliminary masterplan studies conducted as part of the redevelopment proposal have revealed the feasibility of demolishing the existing structure to make way for a new residential complex, potentially comprising 26 apartments or 15 houses featuring a variety of one, two, and three-bedroom layouts.
Appointed by Brentwood Borough Council as strategic partners, Hamson Barron Smith—a division of Norse Consulting—has been tasked with refining the preliminary development concepts with a sharp focus on the site’s context and the ambition for zero-carbon in-use living standards. They are now delivering a comprehensive array of multidisciplinary design and planning consultancy services and are poised to submit a planning application to the Local Planning Authority shortly.
